Applications are invited for the role of Course and General Administration Assistant in the Faculty of English.
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and adaptable administrator to support the smooth and efficient running of the Faculty of English. This varied role covers teaching administration, timetabling, examinations, room management, reception duties and event support. You will be an essential part of ensuring that staff, students and visitors receive an excellent experience.
The Faculty comprises approximately 660 undergraduates, 180 Masters students, 180 PhD students, and over 60 academic staff. Located on the Sidgwick Site, our building includes teaching rooms, a well-resourced library, social and postgraduate spaces and the Departments of Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic.
About You
You will be educated to GCSE level grades A-C or equivalent / NVQ Level 2 or equivalent level of practical experience. Along with good administrative, organisation and communication skills and confidence with MS Office software. You’ll be someone who enjoys supporting others, managing multiple tasks, and contributing to a positive and efficient working environment.
