About The Position
This position operates automatic and manual coating furnace equipment of varying complexity in various production processes in accordance with operating procedures.
Requirements
- The work environment: temperature, noise levels, inside or outside, or other factors that might affect the person’s working conditions while performing the job.
- The physical demands of the job include standing, bending, sitting, lifting, ability to lift 50lbs, and forklift driving.
- Coating furnace operations
- Basic Microsoft Office knowledge
- High school diploma/GED, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience involving similar equipment, processes, tools and machining operations.
- Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
Nice To Haves
- Prior Aerospace industry experience
Responsibilities
- Equipment includes powder mixers, powder sifters, grit blast machines, coating furnaces, coating control panels.
- Performs packing of parts into tooling and filling with coating powders.
- Performs loading/unloading as well as starting/ending of coating runs in the coating furnace.
- Performs unloading of parts from tooling and demasking masked parts.
- At the discretion of the Shift Supervisor (Lead) the employee may be required to work in other departments to help maintain the flow of production to meet customer commitments.
