Software Engineering Intern Full Time

What We’re Looking For

In this role, you’ll build the next-gen platform to verify the origin, quality, and factuality of the world’s information. The ideal intern candidate is someone who is a voracious learner, has a history of building applications from the ground up, and can break down complex challenges.

You’ll be working on a fast-paced team of passionate builders and partnering closely with our ML and design teams, to create industry-defining software that has attracted over 2M users globally. Past intern projects have been the focus of demos to VCs and state-level policy leaders.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy high-impact, intuitive, AI-driven web apps in React, Node, and Tailwind
• Develop top-requested features from our users on our dashboard, chrome extensions, and API
• Utilize product analytics to make data-driven product decisions
• Collaborate with our ML, design, and business teams to develop new product initiatives
• Wear multiple hats and work across the product stack

Qualifications

• Comfortable building end-to-end experiences from backend to CSS
• +2 years of experience with modern web frameworks (Express, Next.js, Typescript, and React)
• +1 years of experience with databases (PostgreSQL, AWS RDS)
• Highly motivated to make positive societal impact
• Work with 5 hours of overlap with Eastern Standard Time
