About The Position
If you enjoy tackling a mix of cleaning, light maintenance, and organizing supplies, this role may be a great fit. LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is hiring a Facilities & Supplies Specialist to help keep our Decatur, AL facility clean, organized, and running smoothly. This role combines facility upkeep, light maintenance, and supply/inventory coordination that supports our lifesaving blood drive operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet LifeSouth driving requirements
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and basic tools
- Strong organization and multitasking skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and vendors
Nice To Haves
- Two (2) years of facilities, maintenance, or custodial experience is preferred
Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of our Decatur, AL facility and surrounding grounds
- Perform light maintenance and facility upkeep
- Order, receive, and track supplies for the region
- Prepare and organize supplies for community blood drives
- Assist with vehicle inspections and cleaning
- Coordinate with vendors performing facility work
