One of our core offers is our video content engine, which often starts with a company podcast, but expands into a full content ecosystem: long-form YouTube episodes, short-form clips, company skits, webinar programs, YouTube masterclass series, thought leadership content, and entertainment-style social videos.

The Role:

As a Video Editor / Social-First Content Editor, you’ll work closely with our podcast hosts, producers, strategists, and creative team to turn raw footage into content that feels sharp, engaging, and built for the platform it’s being published on.

We’re hiring for:

• One local editor based in the U.S. or Canada
• Additional overseas editors who can support ongoing client production 

This role is not limited to podcast editing.

You’ll be editing across multiple B2B content formats, including:

• Video podcast episodes
• Short-form podcast clips
• Entertainment-style short-form content
• Company skits
• Founder/executive thought leadership videos
• Webinar clips and repurposed webinar content
• YouTube masterclass series
• Educational social videos
• LinkedIn-native video content
• Instagram Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts

We’re looking for editors who understand how to drive virality, watch duration, retention, and engagement through strong creative judgment.

That means you need to understand more than just clean cuts and captions.

You should know how to create the best possible in-platform viewing experience across YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok.

The right editor can take a raw conversation, skit, webinar, or educational video and make it feel more watchable, dynamic, and intentional without over-editing or distracting from the message.

You should be able to think like a creator and storyteller, not just an editor.

What you’ll do:

• Edit long-form video podcast episodes for YouTube and podcast distribution
• Ability to understand SAAS technical expertise and to distinguish what needs to stay/cut for a thought leadership video.
• Create high-retention short-form clips for LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok
• Edit entertainment-style short-form videos designed to feel native to each platform
• Edit company skits, scripted content, and personality-led social videos
• Repurpose webinar recordings into strong short-form clips, highlight reels, and educational content
• Edit YouTube masterclass-style videos with strong pacing, structure, clarity, and visual engagement
• Identify the strongest hooks, tension points, insights, punchlines, reactions, and scroll-stopping moments from raw footage
• Improve pacing, retention, watch duration, and overall viewer experience
• Add captions, motion graphics, jump cuts, b-roll, screenshots, callouts, zooms, memes, visual emphasis, and pattern interrupts where appropriate
• Understand when a video needs energy, when it needs restraint, and when the content itself should lead
• Adapt editing style based on the platform: YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and Shorts all require different viewing experiences
• Work with producers and strategists to understand the content angle, episode storyline, campaign goal, and distribution plan
• Collaborate with copywriters and social media managers to align edits with hooks, captions, titles, thumbnails, and post copy
• Support A/B testing of different editing styles, hooks, openers, captions, formats, and pacing strategies
• Review video performance and use data to improve future edits
• Help create repeatable editing templates and systems for different client content formats
• Maintain consistent brand quality across client accounts
• Organize project files, exports, revisions, and assets clearly in Frame IO
• Communicate proactively around timelines, feedback, blockers, and creative questions

Role Expectations:

• Contractor role (no full-time)
• To edit 15-20 videos/mo per client account (pay-per-video or retainer model)
• 24-72hr turnaround time
• Editor comes with clear post-production workflows
• Edit with Premiere Pro & Davinci
